Four grave diggers that are arrested by the police

Suspects named Kunle Olomofe 45; Adewale Abiodun 40; Akinola Sunday 69 and Oluwadare Idowu 67 were arrested while trying to sever the head of the tipper driver who had just been buried in the cemetery.

The Ondo State Police Command has detained four gravediggers working in the Akure South Local Government public cemetery after five human heads have been discovered in their custody.

The family members of the deceased tipper driver had come to make preparations for the permanent protection of the graveyard when they saw that his remains had been exhumed.

"It was when we found them in the act that led to their punishment that we learned that they had other human heads in their hands. We immediately called the members of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) who came to pick them up, "said the family member.

Confirming the incident, the Ondo State Police Command spokesperson, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, said the investigation had begun. The suspects have been placed in police custody.
