COVID-19: The Nigerian government updates the reopening of the airport and raises ticket prices

The Federal Government has confirmed that a simulation trial of domestic flights will take place this Saturday at Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.

This is in the process of re-opening the country's airspace for commercial flights.

Aviation minister Hadi Sirika stated this on Monday at the Presidential Task Force's daily briefing on COVID-19 in Abuja.

Sirika assured Nigerians that because of the plan to implement the social distancing rule onboard, ticket prices would not skyrocket as speculated by many.
