President Buhari signs 2020 Revised Budget


In a ceremony at the presidential villa, Abuja, President Muhammadu Buhari signed the revised N10.8-billion budget 2020. The signing was made today being Friday, 10 July 2020.

He said the budget must be amended because of the impact of coronavirus on the country's economy during the meeting inside the Council chambers.

Buhari has noted the 15% allocation by the end of this month for the ministries, services and agencies.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; President of Senate Ahmed Lawan; President Femi Gbajabiamila were also witnesses of the signing, as well as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; and the Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari.




Others were the Ministers Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Minister of State Finance, Clement Agba, Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emiefile and Director General Budget, Ben Akabueze; Senator Babajide Omoworare, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President on National Assembly Matters (Senate) and Hon. Kawu Sumaila, on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives).
