Education: Federal Polytechnic Oko SUG Election - video

Federal Polytechnic, Oko is a Nigerian polytechnic based in Oko, Anambra State. 

Currently the school Students Union Government (SUG) Election is to be conducted today Saturday 27th March 2021.

It commenced with verification of students identity. Students were lined up at the entrance of the school gate for accreditation.

As of the time of this report, the election has been disrupted by the student as a result of malicious act that surfaced.

One of the students when interviewed to ascertain the cause of the disruption stated as thus "the main gate was closed because the time for verification has elasped but some students bribed through there way from the back gate, so the students protested.

The security agency around sprayed tear-gas and shot one bullet in the air to scare the students and to bring order.

As the time of this report it seems the election will be cancelled as a result of the disruption.
