EDUCATION: Yabatech ranked nunmber one Polytechnic

Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) has been ranked the number one Polytechnic in Nigeria by Webometrics ranking report released in July 2021.

A statement signed by Office of the Head, Public Relations, Ejiofor Leo, congratulated the Rector, Engr. Obafemi Owoseni Omokungbe, the institution’s management team, especially the Staff of the Centre for Information Technology and Management (CITM) led by Dr. J.O. Adigun, for their professional input, and the entire Staff and Students for being part of the success stories of the college.

The “Webometrics Ranking of World Universities” is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain.

Other polytechnics featured in the latest rankings in order of appearance and rankings includes: 

• Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, 
• Lagos State Polytechnic
• Federal Polytechnic, Auchi
• Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti
• Federal Polytechnic, Nekede.

Others are Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu and Federal Polytechnic, Offar.
