Ahmed Lawan the senate president, revealed that he didn’t receive any N-Power job slots

Senate President Ahmed Lawan refuted reports that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has allocated N-Power recruitment slots to him.

During the week, reports emerged from an online publication suggesting that some N-Power recruitment allocation has been given to the Senate President and other lawmakers.

But the Senate president has nothing to do with alleged work slots in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the president of the Senate on media and publicity, Ola Awoniyi.

"An article published on the Sahara Reporters portal that allocating N-power-recruitment slots to Senate President and other law makers was drawn to the attention of the Senate President's Office.

"We advise members of the public hereby to ignore entirely the false and malicious publication of the President of the Senate.

“It should be noted that the fairy tale only blandly and obliquely claimed that some lawmakers printed out application forms from the portal of the scheme but failed to provide any evidence that this was to fill its speculated allocated slots.

“We wish to stress that neither the Senate President nor this office has anything to do with the purported slots mischievously credited by the publication to the Senate President.”
