Patrick Iyoha: Obaseki’s campaign group director, board members resign



Patrick Iyoha, founder of the Obaseki / Shaibu Party, a political group working for Edo Governor's reelection, Godwin Obaseki, resigned.

He also dropped his nomination to the Edo State Waste Management Board. Iyoha 's letter to Obaseki dated 28 July.

He said his resignation came with immediate effect, citing personal reasons.

Also, the chairman of the State Post Primary Education Board, Gabriel Oiboh, and a board member, Osanyemwere Osawe, have tendered their exit letters. The letters were dated July 28.

The duo clarified that their decision had followed pressure from the All Progressive Congress (APC) to defect to the People's Democratic Party (PDP).


Three Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Area Development Commission commissars resigned on Monday.

They are Osamwonyi Atu, Rilwanu Oshiomhole and Emmanuel Odigie.

Growing one represented senatorial districts of Edo South, Edo Central, and Edo North in the committee.
