COVID-19: Coronavirus claims Lagos LG chairman, Oke

Babatunde Oke, the Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State is dead.

 

A source close to the family confirmed the development. He passed away Wednesday morning.

 

The chairman was said to have died from coronavirus complications.

Oke had been ill but suffered a relapse not long after he recovered.

 

The deceased was a second term council chairman and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
