BLACK SUNDAY IN FPO - A student of Fedpoly Oko stabbed to death by his caretaker

A student of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Public Administration ND2(R2) was killed in his lodge, Currency Lodge Opposite Chosen Church, South Africa Road.


The student whose name is Abuchi was stabbed on the neck by his caretaker who happens to be an indigene of that town, Oko in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra state.


The student on arrival at Chukwunonso Hospital Opposite the School main gate was confirmed dead.


Currently speaking, the caretaker is on the run, he is nowhere to be seen.


The police officers attached to Oko division on arrival requested that the corps should be deposited to the mortuary.



Preliminary Investigations are been carried out by the officers.


Interviewing one of the witness who also is a student said "this is wickedness, an inhuman act. If not for ASUP strike, this wouldn't have happened because devil seize any opportunity to carry out his evil work and ASUP strike has made way for this to happen".

He further urged the police to see that the perpetrator is apprehended and justice served. 


Speaking further, he pleaded with the government to implement ASUP needs and as well urges ASUP to call off the strike in order to curb other acts that might arise in the future.


However, Students are been advised to apply caution and extreme measures while dealing with their lodge mates, course mates, Caretakers, and bussines hawkers.
