British High Commission confirms the arrest of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu
The British High Commission has confirmed the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Spokesperson of the British High Commission affairmed that Nnamdi Kanu was not arrested in UK.
Recall that on Tuesday, the federal government announced that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra was intercepted by security agencies on Sunday June 27.

Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, who made the disclosure in a joint press briefing with heads of the department of security services and the police, said Nnamdi would be taking to court to continue with his trial.
However, Abubakar Malami who announced the IPOB leader's arrest yesterday June 29, did not reveal how or where Nnamdi Kanu was arrested.
Dean Hurlock, spokesperson of the British High Commission who confirmed Kanu's arrest while speaking to TheCable, said he was not picked up in the UK where he is based.
