According to her,  if the fire was as a result of carelessness, one or two persons in the market must have seen the fire and effort would have been made to stop it in time.

For the fire to occur at a time when no one is at the market is a clear indication that something was wrong somewhere.

He said it is possible that someone in the market burnt some items and forget to separate the ashes before going. This could lead to fire outbreak especially during this harmattan season.

As at the time of filing this report. No one can adequately give a good account of how the fire incident occurred.

Some areas in the  market  affected by the fire incident includes, the foodstuff  sellers, fufu sellers,  meat sellers among others.
