method of preparing African Salad (Abacha)
Ingredients
African salad (Abacha), ukpaka,
crayfish, dry fish, fresh fried fish, garden egg (anara), red oil, ogili, dry
pepper, salt, onions, magi,
Steps
Soak the African salad in cold water
for 3 minutes and sieve out the water
Wash and debone the dry fish and set
aside
Grind half of the crayfish and leave
the rest ungrinded
Chop the garden egg into small pieces and
slice the onions
Place your cooking pot on low heat so
as to avoid burning
Pour the oil and allow it for few
seconds then add the onions and stair
Add the dry fish, grinded and
ungrinded crayfish, ukpaka, ogili, salt, magi, dry pepper, half of the garden
egg and stair it very well
Pour the African salad (abacha) into the pot
and turn it to mix well
with the ingredients
Dish it out in a plate, add the
remaining garden egg and place the fried fish
