NEWS UPDATES: Joy Nunieh’s residence was besieged by Nigerian police operatives due to her allegation over Akpabio - NDDC



Nunieh was due to appear before a Senate panel in Abuja, today. The upper chamber is investigating the alleged misuse of N40billion NDDC funds.

The residence of Joy Nunieh, the former acting managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has been besieged by Nigerian police operatives.


The security agents arrived at home early in the morning, 3, view of Owuru Creek, off Herbert Macaulay Street, Port Harcourt, Old GRA.

Nunieh and Niger Delta Minister Godswill Akpabio were engaged in a cry for match over the crisis that rocked the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the NDCC.
