MUST READ: Federal Government to make COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate mandatory for travel
Boss Mustapha, the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, has stated that the COVID-19 vaccination certificate will soon be a mandatory for travel anywhere in the world.
Mustapha, who is also the Secretary to the Federal Government, announced this on Saturday at the Presidential Villa's New Banquet Hall in Abuja.
President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo were both vaccinated against COVID-19 shortly before he spoke.
Today, Mr President and the Vice-President have equally demonstrated leadership by offering themselves for the Nigerian people to believe in the safety and the efficacy of the vaccines that we have procured and is being deployed.

Vaccine hesitancy will have to give way to reality because the truth about it is that very soon, nobody will be able to travel the world unless you produce the certificate that you have been given. I have not confirmed this but reliably, some countries have started putting restrictions for receiving visitors, even for exercising activities of their faith, without a COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
Nigerians should make themselves available, those who are qualified in the first phase of the deployment, since the deployment will be in four phases, to acquire these vaccinations, according to the message sent out on behalf of Mr. President.
According to Mustapha, the vaccines have been checked, and senior executives have received the vaccines this morning. They are clean, efficient, and are for the benefit and well-being of our people.
