The examination is slated to hold on Tuesday 6 April to Saturday 10 April, 2021.


Check your UI dashboard for exam date and venue. You are asked to pay a sum of 1000N before you could print Photo Card.


The exam is usually PPT (Paper and Pencil Test) but with the sudden introduction of CBT Access Fee. It is LIKELY UI adopts Computer Based Test (CBT). But it has always been Paper and Pencil Test (PPT)


You will be tested based on your UTME subject combination. Your UTME subject combination is your POST UTME subject combination


The examination is made up of 100 questions, 25 questions for each four subject combinations. The total mark is 100


The examination lasts for 90 minutes [1hr 30mins]. Use of calculator is prohibited. Learn how to calculate without use of calculator

The questions are purely O'Level and UTME questions. Reading A'Level topics for the exam is a waste of time. UI extracts questions from UTME past questions and SSCE exams


In Use of English, you will be tested on Comprehension, grammatical name and function, part of speech, Lexis and structure. Kindly use UI GES 101 to prepare for English.


UI does not sell past questions but they provide you with Practice Questions. Practice Questions is typical example of UI POST UTME format


Result is usually released a week or two weeks after exam


UI only considers students who score 50 and above in POST UTME for the next stage of admission process. Students who score below 50 are automatically disqualified irrespective of your UTME score


UI does not consider O'Level in calculate aggregate score but it is required to validate and authenticate your admission. UI uses UTME score and POST UTME score to calculate aggregate score and determine cut off marks.


Aggregate score= UTME score/8 + POST UTME score/2
