JAMB 2021 UPDATE: JAMB cancels examination at Lagos centre as 2021 UTME begins nationwide
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Saturday commenced the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) across the country, with first batch of candidates sitting for the Computer Based Test (CBT) examination.
The examination is expected to run till 3rd July, 2021.
Meanwhile, some candidates who took part in the 2021 unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME), which kicked off nationwide on Saturday, have experienced some difficulties in their attempts to sit the examination.
Technical challenges experienced by candidates at Certified Shipping Institute of Nigeria, Magbon, along Badagry expressway, led to the cancellation of examination at the centre.
The head of public affairs and protocol of the examination body, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed the development to our reporter on the phone.
Mr Benjamin said the affected candidates would be rescheduled by JAMB to sit the examination at a date to be announced soon.

Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the required column.
Click on ‘Check My Results’. The portal will load your result if it’s ready
How to Check JAMB Result Via SMS
Send RESULT to 55019.
Your result would be replied as an SMS shortly after. However, this depends on your network provider.
N50 will be deducted from your balance.

JAMB CUT-OFF MARKS 2021
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released cut-off points for this year’s admission into universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and monotechnics..
The minimum cut off marks suggested by JAMB for admissions into universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and innovation enterprise are 160, 120, 100 and 100 respectively.
Universities — 160
Polytechnics — 120
Colleges of Education — 100
Innovation Enterprise — 100
